While I write prolifically for work, it truly is a passion of mine that I am consistently working to cultivate. If left to my own devices, I’d likely hole up in my home with a cup of warm coffee, my two snuggly cats, a laptop, and an imagination full of stories trying their best to burst into being.
While my most recent book is non-fiction and focuses on lessons I’ve learned through leading mentoring programs at institutions of higher education (Facilitating Peer Mentoring Among STEM Students: Actionable Steps for Faculty), I’ve been working behind the scenes on a novel, embracing the creativity that can only be cultivated through works of fiction. I had the pleasure of being accepted into and attending the Key West Literary Seminar Writer’s Workshop Program in January 2024, learning under the tutelage of Matt Bell. I’m looking forward to participating in the upcoming Middleburg Books Write Outside the Box Workshop Series.
So, let’s see what 2026 brings!
